This adorable sea turtle memorial pendant has a "Honeycomb" style. This glass pendant is made with a technique called honeycomb; starting with a hollow blown bubble made from a coil pot of color and decorating this with clear dots. The dots can be larger and fewer, or smaller and more abundant. This is condensed to solid form and sculpted with the other elements added.

Made by flameworking with borosilicate glass, the turtle measures approximately 2 3/8 x 1 3/4 x 1 1/8" tall with a 5mm clear bail. The Honeycomb Sea Turtle uses about 1/8th teaspoon of cremains which shows as small flecks on the underside of the turtle.

This pendant is a nice-sized statement piece as a pendant. It is also nice as a figurine. If you would like the piece without the bail please indicate in the customer notes.
