This adorable sea turtle memorial pendant has a "Cave" style. This glass pendant is made with a technique called rainbow fuming, using gold and silver as coloring agents. The piece starts as a hollow bubble, which is covered in vaporized precious metal fume, and condensed to solid form in such a way as to create the cave-like pattern with the depth of a vortex and a touch of a twist. The other parts are made separately and then added.

Made of borosilicate, flame-worked glass, it is approximately 2 3/8” x 1 5/8” x 1 1/4”, with a clear 5mm bail for a chain (not included) underneath the head. The turtle uses about 1/8th teaspoon of ash which is infused on the underside.

This pendant is a nice-sized statement piece as a pendant. It is also nice as a figurine. If you would like the piece without the bail please indicate in the customer notes.
