It starts as a hollow blown bubble of clear glass, which is decorated with molten glass canes and stringers. The bubble is condensed and converted to solid form and the head, flippers, tail and bail are added and shaped.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMade of borosilicate, flame-worked glass, it is approximately 2 3\/8\" x 1 5\/8\" x 1 1\/4\" tall, with clear bail. Bail is 5mm approximate.  This uses about 1\/8 teaspoon of ash which shows as small flecks in the center of the sea coral polyps.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis pendant is a nice-sized statement piece as a pendant.
